Three jackfruits hang beneath a spreading bough, their clustered forms suspended against a luminous turquoise field. In A Season Held Aloft, the fruit appears caught between growth and gathering—a quiet moment of ripeness held gently in time.

The richly textured trunk, shaped through expressive palette-knife strokes, brings weight and physicality to the composition, while loosely painted foliage lends it movement and air. The contrast between the grounded tree and the floating fruit creates a sense of balance: strength supporting abundance, and nature carrying the promise of harvest in stillness.
